The Finnish stoner-doom-sludge band Slowbirth was founded in 2009. For the past few years we've been perfecting the art. With a matching band name our start wasn't the fastest or easiest but with a few line-up changes we found the perfect combination of crushing riffage and dark, yet soulful vocals.

Now with this line-up and with each member's roots deep in the heavy duty side of music, we're locked, loaded and ready to roam! From the get go it was clear that this is the way it should sound.

We're often slow and sludgy, melodic, even beautiful though most of the time in a nasty sort of way.
